Sometimes, the most important part of the building process happens before a foundation is even poured. In this case, the slope of the lot could have led to drainage issues down the road, so we chose to raise the lot through extra site work, bringing the driveway to the same plane as the road. After immense downpours and neighborhood flooding the first year of occupancy, our clients were very pleased that they did not have any issues whatsoever with water intrusion.
